We are here to help!
It is perfectly normal to have a first shock when you receive such a good news about how can you improve your financial status. Feel free to ask anything.
Fair question. It’s not everyday you are contacted out of the blue and told you may have a substantial amount of money owed to you. We are an open book. How can I make you feel confident this is real? Ask me anything…
Great question… We do not charge any money up front. Not a single penny. There will be expenses on our part that we must pay (i.e. Attorneys, Notaries, etc.). We work strictly on a contingency basis. We don’t get paid until you get paid. The fee for our services is generally 30 percent.
In the state of Florida all real estate related transactions are readily available to the public as a matter of public record.
I understand. And that is unfortunate. Even though you no longer own the property, you are still entitled to the overage amount. That is, the amount of money that is the difference between what was owed and what the property sold for at auction. Minus any possible liens and/or Federal or State taxes owed.
That sounds fair. I have shared a lot of information with you in a short time. Call or text me with any questions and/or concerns that you may have. How much time do you think you will need?
This is all perfectly legal, ethical and moral. The county owes you money. They just don’t put a whole lot of effort into attempting to get it back to the rightful owner.
Absolutely.
Per county statute, they are legally required to send a certified letter. But, that letter is mailed to the property address. Most likely you were no longer residing at the property that was auctioned.
